Bike MS: 2014 Ride in Washington

Start/Finish Location: Skagit County Fairgrounds, 1410 Virginia St, Mount Vernon, Washington
Registration Fee: $75 until the Tuesday prior to event

Age Minimum: 12 and older (minors must have adult chaperone on route)

For cyclists and all those seeking a personal challenge and a world free of multiple sclerosis, Bike MS is the premier cycling series in the nation. The Washington Bike MS Ride takes you on an unforgettable, two-day journey through Skagit, Whatcom and Island Counties. As many as 2,000 riders will cruise along scenic figure-eight courses ranging from 22 to 97 miles. Full meals, generous amenities, stunning landscapes, fully stocked rest stops and spirited festivities are all included. Riders raise money to support MS research, programs and services dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals affected by MS. Bike MS will take you further than you've ever gone before. It's not the miles that matter — it's the unforgettable journey. Join us for an event that's more than a ride — it's anticipation, camaraderie, personal accomplishment, and the knowledge that you're changing lives... making every mile that much sweeter.

From Northbound I-5:
1. Merge onto I-5 N
2. Take exit 225 for Anderson Rd
3. Turn left at Anderson Rd
4. Turn right at Old Hwy 99 S Rd
5. Turn left at W Blackburn Rd
6. Turn right at Harrison St

From Southbound I-5:
1. Merge onto I-5 S
2. Take exit 226 for WA-536/Kincaid St
3. Turn left at S 3rd St
4. Take Right at Vera St
5. Turn left at Cleveland Ave
6. Turn right at Taylor St

Accommodations

  • Outdoor tent camping is available free of charge on a first come, first served basis.
  • RV reservations will be available in late spring 2014 - please check back for contact information.
  • Motel accommodation is available by making reservations directly with area motels.
