Online registration will be available in spring 2010

Below is is a sample list of volunteer positions to fill for the 2010 event. Please check back in spring 2010 for more information!

Ride Marshal
Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Ride Marshals play a critical part in keeping every rider safe through enforcing the Rules of the Ride out on the route. Volunteers will attend a training session Saturday morning before the start time, and then will ride the route alongside participants both days. All Ride Marshals will receive free registration for the 2010 event!

Route Markers
Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
In teams of two, Route Markers will place directional arrows, mission signs and other event signage along the route, prior to the ride.

Route Flagger
Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

In teams of two, Route flaggers will be positioned near rider village to help cyclists cross intersections as they leave the Skagit County Fairgrounds.

Bike Corral
Friday, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

In teams of four or more, volunteers will check bicycles in and out of the Bike Corral before and after the ride each day.

Finish Line
Saturday, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Bleachers will be set up at the finish line to help welcome back our amazing cyclists. Groups and individuals are needed to help in this area. Noise makers will be provided.

Start Line
Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Sunday, 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Volunteers will help event staff organize and run the waves of cyclists in the morning.

Meal Service
Saturday Breakfast, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Saturday Dinner, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Sunday Breakfast, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Sunday BBQ, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Volunteers will assist catering staff with food set-up, distribution and clean-up for meals in Rider Village. A valid food handlers permit is preferred.

Parking
Friday, 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Volunteers will direct riders and volunteers to designated event parking areas.

Registration
Friday, 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Sunday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Assist with rider check-in, collecting donations, distributing T-shirts and pre-registration for the 2010 event.

Bike MS Champions
Saturday, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

An MS Champion is someone living with multiple sclerosis. MS Champions will attend Bike MS and gather with other MS Champions in a special area near the Start/Finish to cheer on and welcome back cyclists. Many cyclists have shared their gratitude for being able to make the connection between an incredibly beautiful ride and personal challenge, to the reminder of why we all come together to participate in Bike MS---to move us closer to a world free of MS.
