For cyclists and all those seeking a personal challenge and a world free of multiple sclerosis, Bike MS is the premier cycling series in the nation. Each local, fully supported ride in Alaska, Montana and Washington provides gorgeous scenic views, a variety of route options, and the opportunity to do something about MS now!
Local, Team-led Training Rides
If your team is planning a training ride which will be open to other Bike MS cyclists, please let us know at bikeMSnorthwest@nmss.org and post them to the Chapter Facebook page! For additional training tools, please see the Safety & Training webpage.
Recruitment & Fundraising Blitz Weeks
Participants and teams in Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Washington have the chance to compete against their Bike MS peers and win great prizes during recruitment and fundraising blitz weeks leading up to Bike MS. Stay tuned for information about dates, competitions and prizes! To get started fundraising, see the Fundraising Ideas webpage.
The Bike MS fundraising deadline for Washington, Idaho, and Montana is October 7. The fundraising deadline in Alaska is June 27. All donations and matching gift forms must be turned in by the deadline to count toward prizes (including the Bike MS jersey), team fundraising awards and the 2015 Century Club standings.
Washington Bike MS teams that raised $10,000 or more have earned their spot on Team Row in Rider Village – congratulations! First-year teams may also qualify for a team tent by raising 75% of their fundraising goal by August 3, 2014. This policy also applies to veteran teams that would like to qualify for a larger team tent than their 2013 fundraising earned.
Alaska, Idaho, and Montana teams that raise $10,000 or more will get a spot on Team Row in Rider Village – a place for the top echelon of teams to congregate and celebrate! See the Tour de Teams overview for more information.
